Grape Soda
Grape Soda
Finca El Edén – Viviana Martínez | La Tebaida, Quindío, Colombia
Viviana Martínez is a multi-generation coffee grower who has turned her family finca at 1,400 meters into one of Colombia’s most exciting producers for exotic co-fermentations.
This special lot blends Pink Bourbon and Castillo varieties picked at peak ripeness, processed as black honey (almost all the sticky mucilage left on the bean and dried very slowly), and then co-fermented with fresh grapes from the cool Quindío highlands.
The result is pure nostalgia in a cup, a coffee that tastes exactly like the grape soda you loved as a kid, but with the depth and elegance of altitude-grown Colombian coffee.
