What to Expect on an Origin Trip
Lodging and Food
Enjoy your stay at a family farm in the same town as Botero Coffee Headquarters. Breakfast will be served here on days we do not eat breakfast out. Lunch and dinner are provided throughout the trip at various family farms and local restaurants.
Transportation
Visitors are expected to arrange their own transportation to and from Armenia, Quindío, Colombia(AXM) at the beginning and end of their trip. We accommodate the rest.
Farm Visits
Join us on multiple tours of the different farms of our partner producers, providing hands on education and experience of the entire coffee process and showcasing the natural scenery of Colombia’s Eje Cafetero.
Local Tourism
Hike the Valle de Cocora trail with the world-famous waxy palm trees, found nowhere else. A restaurant dinner and evening in the scenic town of Salento is unforgettable.
Cupping Education
Learn and experience the professional technique for coffee evaluation and sample dozens of our coffees from our top sellers to our experimental exotics.

Optional Extension
Visitors can arrive early in Medellin at their own expense to experience more of what Colombia has to offer. Fun options include scenic hikes like Cerro de las Tres Cruces or museums such as Museo de Antioquia, featuring works by Fernando Botero. Don’t forget the vibrant food and night life of the city. Transportation to Botero Coffee headquarters is available by bus or plane(AXM).
