Welcome to Botero Coffee Company

Brewed In Tradition

Sustainable coffee, directly from small farms in Colombia’s Coffee Triangle to your doorstep.

At Botero Coffee, we believe that every cup tells a story—one rooted in sustainability, craftsmanship, and the vibrant heart of Colombia. As purveyors of Colombian Specialty Coffee, we’re passionate about bringing you coffee that’s more than just a beverage; it’s a connection to the people and places that grow it.

Celebrate Generational Cafeteros

Mauricio Botero grew up visiting family in Quindio. With a grandfather and many other family members working as cafeteros at various farms around the region, the Botero name has been known for coffee and Quindio agriculture for generations.

As family members moved to the U.S. and their coffee farms dwindled, Mauricio’s passion remained in the mountains of Colombia and in the fields that grow the world’s most spectacular coffee.

Today, the Botero team is on a mission to elevate the underrepresented producers of Quindio and bring premium-quality, ethically-produced, sustainably-sourced coffee to the U.S.

Dedicated to the people of the Quindio region, Botero supports local economic development and innovation with quality jobs and a launchpad into the international coffee market.

Imagine the Perfect Coffee Climate

Botero’s partner coffee farms – called fincas in Colombia – are located in the West Colombian Andes’ Coffee Triangle. This region exhibits the perfect conditions for growing great coffee: a combination of mineral-rich volcanic soil, consistent temperatures, and the perfect elevation produce coffee with fruity notes, rich body, and a subtle sweetness — qualities unique to Quindio coffee.

Local culture is deeply rooted in a coffee production tradition dating back generations, and local farmers maintain a commitment to sustainable and traditional farming practices.

UNESCO recognizes the Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia, noting “the coffee tradition is the most representative symbol of national culture in Colombia, for which Colombia has gained worldwide recognition.”

Small Farm, Direct Trade, Single Origin

Simón Camilo

Simón is dedicated to his coffee and to his stunning family land. He is also passionate about the production process. When perfectly ripe, his coffee berries are harvested and allowed a short fermentation period before being washed and processed. This method allows Simón’s coffee to develop the complex and unique flavor profiles you’ll only find in a single estate coffee by Botero.
